Friday A fair morning with high pressure in control of the weather. There will be an easterly wind across the country, quite brisk in more southern areas. There will be good spells of sunshine, although this is going to be hazy due to the high cloud. Most places should be dry, although there is a very low chance of a shower over parts of Kent and Essex early on. Little change is expected throughout the day with sunny spells for all. Highs at a warm 19 to 23C.

Friday Night Overnight it is going to be staying dry over all parts of the country. There will be some high cloud floating around, although some good clear spells too. The risk of some low cloud drifting in off the North Sea cross eastern Scotland and the northeast of England. Cloudier skies for the far west of Ireland and here there could be some outbreaks of rain drifting in from time to time. Increasing winds in the west. Low sat 8 to 12C.

Saturday Cloudier skies for Saturday and an increasing southeast wind too. The thickest of the cloud will be over more western parts of the country, and this may well produce a few spots of rain for the hills of Wales. More persistent rain in western parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland where some of the rain could be heavy. Drier weather in more central and eastern areas. Highs will be at 17 to 22C.

Sunday A windy say over most of the country. There will be lots of cloud over much of the country as a weak front drifts eastwards.This is likely to be giving some spots of rain on the hills almost anywhere at first. The rain tending to die away and then from late morning and into the afternoon it should become drier with some sunny spells returning. Thicker cloud over Ireland bringing some spots of rain here.
